DIRT DOG MAPS
from minds to maps....
Fly Fishing
Our client contacted us regarding a fishing trip he and some
buddies took to the Bighorn River in Montana. In describing the
trip every other word was "huge" or "pigs", so we asked him to
send along some photo's of the trip and we would see what we
could come up with. Being an avid fisherman myself, I always
love these maps and it gives me a sense of being there myself.
So, here's to "Rippin Lip"!

Hiking
This map was created for a buddy of ours for his 30th birthday.
Our goal was to capture the incredible relief of the Sangre de
Cristo's with the subtle landscape of the Great Sand Dunes and
Wet Valley. It was a wonderful trip until one of the dogs got a
little too close with a porcupine.
Land Use
Our client for this map is a "good ole boy" from south Georgia.
We created this map for his Father and it shows the farm he was
raised on as a child along with some pictures of the original
house and barn. The family are avid quail and deer hunters so
we digitized feed plots, deer stands, wetlands and quail habitat.
Environmental
My partner and I have a background in Environmental and
Watershed Science. A lot of our work comes in the form of site
plans, land use, groundwater analysis and watershed delineation.
This figure gives one idea in regards to the type figure we put
